Project Title

Reza & Malihe Habibi & Shirzad
Behrouz project consists of five residential stories on the ground floor. lack of privacy and disturbing sight of neighbors in crowded cities like Tehran is a challenge. in order to respond to this challenge, we decided to create balconies which provide privacy, sight and qualified semi-open spaces simultaneously. with designing vertical gaps in north facade, we provide each unit its own private balcony. the porous brick shell provides light, privacy and adds some qualities to interior spaces. Among the porous shell that is placed in front of the balconies in the private sector. Vertical gaps were designed two stories high. In addition to creating visual diversity, these vertical gaps provided a suitable view for the interior space, and private green space for each unit is created. One of the main concerns of the project was the need to create a semi-transparent shell, which should be completely homogeneous and integrated with the structure of the project. In this regard, a metal grid was designed, which was connected to the main structure and placed in the path of the brick ridges, so as not to overshadow the main view of the facade. Then, after placing the rows of bricks in their places, in addition to being connected to the supporting structure, they were connected to each other integrally by means of metal belts.
